i have been on accutane for the past 5 months, and my face was kind of dry. now i am on retin-a to make sure the acne doesn’t come back, and my face is horrible! it itches and is terribly flaky. i wash my face with cetaphil, but i’m not sure what or if i should use a moisturizer on my face because i’m afraid my acne will come back! but i have to do something because it’s embarassing! and my scalp is really dry. anyone know of any good face moisturizer and scalp moisturizer?

Probably should use something light, for sensitive skin with no perfume. If you’ve been seeing a dermatologist why not ask him? I’ve been using oil of olay for a long time and like it alot. Its really light so it doesn’t make your face break out. Remember, the experts say that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to get a good moisturizer. Also, don’t over wash your face and don’t scrub it when you wash.

I use biore and proactive and they both work very well. But if I were you i’d use the proactive because there is so many different types of moisterizers for different skin types and don’t worry about the price its actually not thet expensive, it’s just that on television commercials they say its a great deal too pay 50.00 for the basics but if you go to http://www.proactive.com you can buy moisterizers really cheap…i’d try the green tea it works really good and it’s not really crappy like eucerine or other bad brands.
something w/out parebens please, they are carcinogens/cancer causing nothing petroleum based either,
dont know scalp moisterizer but paul mitchell tea tree shampoo worked for me,nothing else tea tree though or jojoba shampoo
