Acne rosacea is probably one of the most noticeable and upsetting forms of acne for sufferers. It can be experienced at any age, mainly between ages 30 – 50, by both males and females, despite its rarity, and absolutely has to be treated by a dermatologist. Acne rosacea treatments are very specific and do not include the regular treatments that are available to other acne sufferers. Acne rosacea is a disease that afflicts the center part of the face – chin, forehead and nose area. The disease causes blood capillaries to swell and appear on the skin’s surface (telangiectasias).
